Director of Career Services

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic approaches to connect undergraduate and graduate students with future careers and industry connections.
• Cultivate strong relationships with corporate partners to bolster internship and job placement rates.
• Provide one-on-one career counseling, including guidance on career goals, resume creation, and interview preparation.
• Deliver interactive workshops and presentations on topics such as personal branding and job market trends.
• Manage data and reporting related to student career outcomes, employment rates, and placement statistics.
• Foster alumni engagement through networking events and mentorship opportunities.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus offices to integrate career development into the broader student experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• 5-7 years of professional experience with proven outcomes in boosting student career opportunities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in career development tools, online resources, and career-related software.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in business or a related field.
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Career Counselor (CCC).
• Experience in career services or advising within a higher education business school setting.
• A strong professional network with local and regional industry professionals.
• Proficiency in data analysis to inform decision-making.
• Multilingual skills.
