Director of Career Services

Responsibilities

• Build strategic partnerships with organizations to develop talent pipelines and enhance student career readiness.
• Lead and organize career fairs, on- and off-campus interviews, and guest speaking engagements.
• Equip students with professional skills, including resume development, LinkedIn optimization, and mock interview practice.
• Coordinate and increase the quality of paid and academic-credit internship opportunities.
• Serve as faculty for specific internship courses and improve related curricula and assessments.
• Drive alumni engagement and collect data for First Destination Surveys to track employment statistics.
• Provide career advising to help students define realistic employment goals and develop career plans.
• Support the university's Christian mission through person-to-person mentorship and discipleship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in higher education, preferably in recruitment or career services.
• Proven experience in assessment, student advising, and event management.
• Experience in internship coordination and employer engagement.
• Demonstrated commitment to the Christian mission and ability to support students from a biblical worldview.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Education, Leadership, or a related Higher Education field.
