Director of Career Services and Academic Outreach

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for career readiness, workforce development, and dual enrollment initiatives.
• Administer dual enrollment programs, including managing partnerships with public, charter, and private high schools.
• Oversee program delivery, scheduling, and assessment proctoring for dual enrollment students.
• Develop and implement a strategic vision for career services aligned with institutional goals.
• Collaborate with academic departments to integrate NACE career readiness competencies into the curriculum.
• Design programs to enhance student employability, such as internships, workshops, and networking events.
• Cultivate partnerships with employers, alumni, and industry leaders to create job placement pipelines.
• Utilize data analytics to assess program effectiveness and prepare regular reports.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Administration, Education, Leadership, Counseling, Career Development, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in higher education, workforce development, or academic program management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NACE career readiness competencies.
