Director of Career Development Services

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and planning for the implementation, operation, and assessment of Career Development Services.
• Implement a guided career pathways program to enhance student leadership and career fluency.
• Coordinate faculty and staff engagement to promote proactive and intentional career advising.
• Collaborate with faculty to facilitate microcredentials and experiential learning opportunities.
• Manage employer relations to expand first-destination placements for students and alumni.
• Supervise and manage staff within the Career Development Services unit.
• Develop a co-curricular transcript that is creditable to employers.
• Leverage career-related technologies to enhance student experiences throughout their matriculation.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of strategic leadership experience in career development, experiential learning, or professional development training.
• Advanced degree in education, business, human resources, technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of administrative and supervisory experience.
• Proven experience utilizing career-related technologies for managing student and institutional data.
• Strong assessment and market data analysis skills to inform strategic approaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging academic and administrative communities.
