About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive career support strategy focused on career readiness, internships, and graduate outcomes.
  • Supervise and evaluate Office of Career Readiness staff, including Graduate Assistants and Career Navigators.
  • Build strategic partnerships with employers, alumni, and community organizations to expand internship pipelines and job placement.
  • Collaborate with faculty to embed NACE competencies into academic programs.
  • Organize regional career fairs, networking events, and employer panels.
  • Manage career technology platforms such as Handshake and various assessment tools.
  • Oversee departmental budgets, promotional efforts, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in career development or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and data analysis/assessment.
  • Strong background in student career advising and coaching.
  • Exceptional public speaking and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
