About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead a comprehensive career support strategy focused on career readiness, internships, and graduate outcomes.
- Supervise and evaluate Office of Career Readiness staff, including Graduate Assistants and Career Navigators.
- Build strategic partnerships with employers, alumni, and community organizations to expand internship pipelines and job placement.
- Collaborate with faculty to embed NACE competencies into academic programs.
- Organize regional career fairs, networking events, and employer panels.
- Manage career technology platforms such as Handshake and various assessment tools.
- Oversee departmental budgets, promotional efforts, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in career development or a related field.
- Proven experience in strategic planning and data analysis/assessment.
- Strong background in student career advising and coaching.
- Exceptional public speaking and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
