Director of Campus & External Affairs

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful relationships with key university staff and faculty to yield productive partnerships
• Convene faculty, staff, and students to make recommendations to administration and build support networks
• Partner with Hillel International teams on campus climate and communications
• Collaborate with Jewish and non-Jewish community organizations on community-wide initiatives
• Empower students as leaders and plan advocacy events
• Monitor, track, and report on antisemitism via social media and campus activity
• Support student leadership in Greek life, student government, and campus organizations
• Manage relationships with press and media partners, including writing press releases and statements
• Write op-eds, newsletters, action alerts, and social media content

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in college campus work, Jewish community, or community relations
• Proven record of building productive working relationships
• Experience working with student governments and policy
• Knowledge of Jewish history, culture, Zionism, and antisemitism
• Strong social media skills
• Excellent interpersonal and diplomatic skills
