Director of Campus Engagement

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and strategic vision for programs and services that drive co-curricular involvement for all Doane University students.
• Promote an active co-curricular experience for both residential and nonresidential students across multiple campuses.
• Foster the development of student organizations, their individual members, and their advisors.
• Contribute to student leadership development and strengthen connections to the larger Doane community.
• Collaborate with campus and community partners to achieve engagement outcomes.
• Lead efforts in promoting an inclusive and equitable environment by identifying and eliminating systemic barriers for underrepresented students.
• Manage departmental budgets and financial resources effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Student Affairs, education, counseling, or a closely related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in higher education (Student Affairs, campus engagement, event management, or advising).
• Proven supervisory experience.
• Experience advising student organizations and developing supporting policies and training.
• Demonstrated financial management and budgeting skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
• Proficiency with technology, including community engagement platforms and social media marketing.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
