Responsibilities

• Drive assortment strategy by developing buying strategies that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends
• Conduct trend forecasting through market research, runway analysis, and social media monitoring
• Lead cost negotiations with suppliers to optimize margins and maintain product quality
• Manage financial performance including open-to-buy budgets, pricing, margin targets, and inventory levels
• Partner cross-functionally with production, replenishment, planning, and creative teams
• Utilize sales data and market insights to optimize product assortments
• Lead weekly open-to-buy meetings and mentor the buying team
• Develop and maintain profitable partnerships with vendors

Requirements

• 15+ years of Apparel Buying/Merchandising experience, ideally in eCommerce
• Minimum of 5 years in a buying leadership role
• BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred
• Proven ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and multi-task
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Keen eye for design, trends, and color

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with product development
• Fluency in languages other than English
