Director of Business & Student Financial Services

Responsibilities

• Lead all student accounts operations, including billing, account adjustments, and payment plan administration
• Oversee student receivables, collections, and student financial communications
• Serve as Purchasing Coordinator, managing procurement workflows, vendor relationships, and Accounts Payable processes
• Administer the Purchase Card Program, including reconciliation, compliance, and reporting
• Maintain and manage campus contract inventory and support contract oversight processes
• Provide review and oversight of accounting functions, including reconciliations and financial accuracy
• Coordinate closely with St. Ambrose University finance and student accounts teams to maintain operational alignment
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and financial procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field
• Four years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
• Proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, and database tools
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality
