Director of Business Development

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Physician and Clinical Liaisons to grow revenue and market share
• Recruit, hire, and develop top talent in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
• Coach team members through regular ride-alongs and field training
• Partner with Physician Liaisons to create and execute sales plans to achieve growth goals
• Manage territory budgets and analyze financial performance
• Develop and implement training programs for Physician/Clinical Liaisons
• Monitor market and competitor information to identify new opportunities
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, Stark Laws, and other regulatory requirements

Requirements

• BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Public Affairs, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years in outside sales or business development
• Minimum of 3-5 years working with medical professionals or medical operations/marketing
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Must reside in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania
• Valid personal auto insurance meeting specific liability requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or other related graduate degree
