About the role
Responsibilities
- Win profitable business from both new and existing clients
- Identify client needs, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with internal delivery teams to craft compelling solutions
- Lead proposal development and pricing coordination
- Identify opportunities for differentiation in technical capability, project delivery, and commercial strategy
- Conduct cold outreach, targeted lead generation, and call on prospective owner-operators and decision-makers
- Attend industry conferences and networking events to serve as a thought leader
- Gather competitive intelligence to strengthen market positioning
- Serve as the primary client contact to deepen and expand long-term relationships
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 8+ years of business development or senior sales experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity
- Proven track record of winning and growing accounts at a senior level
- Full sales cycle management experience from prospecting through to close
- Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel regionally and nationally
- Ability to work fully on-site in Savannah, GA
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- Established professional network across the Southeast US
- Experience building or scaling a business development function within a vertical market
- Familiarity with the Greater Savannah / Coastal Georgia business landscape

- Base Salary: $160,000 to $224,000 per year, based on experience
