About the role

Responsibilities

  • Win profitable business from both new and existing clients
  • Identify client needs, qualify opportunities, and collaborate with internal delivery teams to craft compelling solutions
  • Lead proposal development and pricing coordination
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation in technical capability, project delivery, and commercial strategy
  • Conduct cold outreach, targeted lead generation, and call on prospective owner-operators and decision-makers
  • Attend industry conferences and networking events to serve as a thought leader
  • Gather competitive intelligence to strengthen market positioning
  • Serve as the primary client contact to deepen and expand long-term relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years of business development or senior sales experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of winning and growing accounts at a senior level
  • Full sales cycle management experience from prospecting through to close
  • Strong commercial acumen and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally
  • Ability to work fully on-site in Savannah, GA

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Established professional network across the Southeast US
  • Experience building or scaling a business development function within a vertical market
  • Familiarity with the Greater Savannah / Coastal Georgia business landscape

  • Base Salary: $160,000 to $224,000 per year, based on experience
