About the Company

Cardless is a Series C consumer fintech that makes it easy for the world's largest brands to build credit cards into their ecosystems. Brands use Cardless to configure, launch, and grow credit card programs that delight their customers and strengthen their core business.

Responsibilities

  • Build new partner relationships by identifying and prioritizing brands likely to benefit from Cardless programs
  • Develop relationships with senior decision-makers at target companies
  • Represent Cardless to executives at major consumer brands, financial institutions, and loyalty programs
  • Work the consulting and RFP channel to ensure Cardless is represented in vendor selection processes
  • Target companies with existing card programs to build the case for switching to Cardless
  • Manage a pipeline of prospects from first contact through signed agreement with high discipline
  • Build and maintain BD operations systems including CRM and outreach cadences
  • Provide regular reporting on pipeline health and deal velocity

Requirements

  • 6-10 years in business development, partnerships, or sales with financial services exposure
  • Proven track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
  • Existing network in the card and payments space
  • Experience navigating formal RFP processes for financial services technology
  • Deep understanding of card program economics, players, and regulatory context
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with senior executives

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience at a bank, card issuer, or payment network
  • Ability to generate cold pipeline through network and outbound effort
