About the Company

In Common With is a design studio defining a new vocabulary for interiors, where old-world craft meets at-scale manufacturing. In 2024, they opened Quarters, a hybrid retail and hospitality destination in Tribeca. The studio focuses on lighting and objects created through collaboration between expert craftspeople, artists, and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Define and evolve brand positioning and product narratives for In Common With and Quarters
  • Establish standards for voice, tone, art direction, and photography to ensure brand consistency
  • Lead and develop the internal marketing and creative team, including managers and specialists
  • Manage a network of external collaborators such as photographers, stylists, and writers
  • Oversee brand and creative budgets and establish performance KPIs
  • Translate brand strategy into scalable campaign systems across e-commerce, social, email, and retail channels
  • Partner with Sales to align brand positioning across Direct, Trade, Wholesale, and Custom channels

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading brand and marketing in luxury, design, fashion, or product-driven industries
  • Proven ability to define brand positioning and translate it into cohesive multi-channel systems
  • Deep experience in e-commerce, CRM, paid/organic media, PR, and retail environments
  • Experience owning product marketing for physical goods (naming, positioning, GTM)
  • Strong commercial acumen regarding customer acquisition, conversion, and retention
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cross-functional teams
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep familiarity with the codes of luxury and brand equity building
  • Ability to move between high-level strategy and hands-on execution
  • Experience working closely with founders or executive leadership
  • Strong editorial point of view and market awareness
  • Proficiency with tools like Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, Asana, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve marketing and creative workflows
