Director of Architecture

Responsibilities

• Integrate Information technology asset management (ITAM) standards into enterprise architecture, procurement, and engineering workflows
• Maintain accurate, real-time inventory of the asset estate using platforms like ServiceNow, Flexera, or Snow Software
• Define asset data standards, ownership hierarchies, and key performance indicators
• Translate inventory data into executive-facing dashboards and audit-ready reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed asset governance into business processes
• Support regulatory and audit requirements related to asset management
• Define and govern technology asset classifications including hardware, software, SaaS, and APIs
• Drive innovation and achieve target state architecture goals

Requirements

• 7+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts
• At least 5 years as a Technology Infrastructure architect
• At least 10 years working in a highly regulated financial industry
• Experience developing or leading cross-functional teams of architects
• Experience hiring, developing, and recognizing talent
• Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Practical cloud native experience
• Strong governance and accountability skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working at code level
• Experience with portfolio operations and cost management
• Familiarity with modern cloud-based technologies
• Ability to influence and drive change across teams
• Experience in product management within technology organizations
