Director of Applied Data Science and Solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the Master Patient Index project, including service endpoints, integrations, and entity resolution models
• Provide management, design, and developer support for interoperability projects, whole genome sequencing, and client engagement platforms
• Conduct code reviews, diagramming sessions, and stakeholder presentations
• Coordinate project work across developers, IT admins, and vendors
• Act as lead or supporting SQL developer, Python developer, or data scientist as directed

Requirements

• Professional/Vendor Certification in database administration
• Baccalaureate degree and two years of database administration experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in database design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and security management
• 8+ years of Python experience
• 10+ years of SQL development experience
• 5+ years of business intelligence experience
• 5+ years of statistical modeling experience
• 3+ years of machine learning modeling experience
