Director of Apparel Operations & Planning

Responsibilities

• Identify, vet, and onboard global manufacturing partners and factories
• Lead pricing, terms, and capacity negotiations with domestic and international partners
• Manage seasonal and in-season demand planning and unit-level forecasting
• Oversee logistics workflows including warehousing, inventory transfers, and outbound fulfillment
• Monitor inventory health and manage rebalancing, liquidation, or reinvestment strategies
• Partner with Finance to align sourcing costs and demand planning with revenue targets
• Manage Purchase Orders (POs) to ensure alignment with forecasted demand and delivery windows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Operations, Business, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in operations, demand planning, or supply chain within apparel or retail
• 3+ years of people leadership experience
• Strong data fluency with expertise in Excel
• Familiarity with ERP and planning systems like NetSuite
• Deep understanding of seasonal apparel production calendars and lead times
