About the role

Responsibilities

  • Secure major gifts of $25,000+ to support the strategic needs of the College of Educational and Behavioral Sciences
  • Implement fundraising strategies including identification, qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of prospects
  • Aim to reach a minimum of $1M in annual gift commitments
  • Conduct a minimum of 120 donor and prospect visits annually
  • Provide leadership and administrative support for the CEBS Advisory Council
  • Collaborate with academic staff and the Dean to develop prospect strategies and build relationships
  • Host or co-host donor receptions and special recognition events
  • Travel regionally and occasionally out-of-state for donor visits

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of face-to-face fundraising experience with a proven track record of securing gifts
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and public speaking abilities
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to travel across the United States as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of finance, planned giving, and alumni engagement
  • Experience in advancement communications
