Director of Admissions and Socioemotional Learning Teacher

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive admissions strategy aligned with the Academy’s mission
• Manage the admissions process including outreach, recruitment, application review, and selection
• Create and maintain admissions materials such as brochures, website content, and promotional videos
• Represent the Academy at educational fairs, community events, and recruitment activities
• Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools and community organizations
• Coordinate and host on-campus and virtual events for prospective families
• Track and analyze admissions data to identify trends and report progress to leadership
• Design and implement an SEL curriculum to promote emotional intelligence and resilience
• Deliver engaging SEL lessons to students across various grade levels
• Provide individual and group support to students addressing socioemotional challenges
• Provide training and support to faculty and staff on SEL best practices
• Assess the effectiveness of SEL programs through surveys and evaluation tools

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in education and/or admissions
• Experience in a PreK-12 setting preferred
• Demonstrated experience in teaching or implementing socioemotional learning programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
