About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the Houston office, including facilities, mailroom, and office systems.
  • Oversee office finance tasks such as preparing annual budgets, forecasting, and managing local expense reimbursements.
  • Lead human resources functions including local recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management cycles.
  • Manage space planning and construction projects, including office remodels, build-outs, and moves.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and local office services such as catering, reception, and security.
  • Partner with firmwide leadership and Global Services departments to ensure aligned service delivery.

Requirements

  • University Degree.
  • 8+ years of administration or managerial experience in a professional services environment.
  • Proven experience in Human Resources, including employee relations and performance management.
  • Experience in space and construction management, including workplace strategy and renovations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working within a law firm.
  • Experience managing flexible work or hoteling office environments.
  • Familiarity with time entry, billing, and accounting systems.
  • Experience with organizational change management.
