Director of Administration and Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Optimize and accelerate administrative processes for research projects from preliminary stages to agreement signing
• Collaborate on grant applications and funding initiatives for prioritized research projects
• Support the integrated approach between care and research missions to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Evaluate departmental needs and lead efforts to secure required resources and programs
• Coordinate funding requests with organizations such as the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI)
• Implement decisions from the Board of Directors and General Management regarding responsible services
• Maintain a high-performance management system for information flow and objective tracking
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, internal directives, ethics codes, and scientific integrity standards
• Plan, execute, and monitor construction and renovation projects related to research

Requirements

• Graduate degree (2nd cycle) in Business Administration or a relevant field
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector
• Experience in academic environments, healthcare networks, or the biopharmaceutical industry
• Proficiency in both English and French (written, read, and spoken)
• Experience drafting complex documents for institutional authorities and partners
