Director of Accounting & Finance/Corporate Controller

Responsibilities

• Lead general accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP, including consolidation and preparation of global financial statements
• Oversee operational accounting functions including credit, collections, payroll, and accounts payable
• Manage financial statement audits and ensure compliance with tax requirements
• Maintain effective internal controls and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
• Manage cash position and forecasting to ensure efficient use of resources
• Advise senior management on financial implications of business and regulatory activities
• Lead, coach, and mentor managers and staff to build a high-performing finance organization
• Manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (advanced degree preferred)
• Active CPA license
• 10+ years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience in a multinational enterprise
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
• Strong experience with ERP systems
• Proven ability to streamline and optimize financial processes
