Director, Network Infrastructure & Operations

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise network strategy across corporate WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, and restaurant connectivity.
• Own the ZTNA roadmap, implementing zero trust solutions to replace legacy VPN architectures.
• Lead the adoption of Terraform for managing network infrastructure across Azure and AWS environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated network configuration deployment.
• Oversee network connectivity and performance for 37,000+ global restaurant locations.
• Manage a blended team of FTEs and managed-service providers, fostering a culture of automation and operational excellence.
• Partner with Cyber Security to ensure network segmentation and compliance with PCI-DSS, GDPR, and SOX.
• Manage annual operating and capital budgets for all network functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 12-15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or network engineering.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing enterprise network functions.
• Deep expertise in ZTNA, enterprise routing (BGP, OSPF), and next-generation firewalls.
• Extensive experience with Azure (vNET, ExpressRoute) and AWS (Transit Gateway, VPC, Direct Connect) networking.
• Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) at scale.
• CCNP or CCIE certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the QSR, franchise, or hospitality industry managing large-scale multi-site networks.
• Hands-on experience migrating from legacy VPN to ZTNA architectures.
• Proficiency with Python or Ansible for network automation.
• Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS network segmentation requirements.
