Director, Merchant Product Management

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for merchant onboarding products and platform capabilities
• Lead the product lifecycle for APIs, onboarding workflows, orchestration tools, and developer experiences
• Serve as the primary external representative for the product suite to major platform partners, enterprise merchants, and industry analysts
• Evaluate and prioritize investments across multiple product lines to drive growth and operational efficiency
• Align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Risk, Operations, and Compliance around shared product goals
• Drive the creation of configurable, API-first experiences tailored to platform partners and embedded finance ecosystems

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership of platform, onboarding, or payments products
• Proven success managing multiple product lines or a large, cross-product domain
• Expertise working with ISVs, SaaS platforms, marketplaces, or embedded finance ecosystems
• Strong technical aptitude with experience in APIs, developer ecosystems, and orchestration frameworks
• Exceptional executive communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences and large clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep domain knowledge in merchant onboarding, underwriting, risk, KYC/KYB, and payment acceptance
• Experience modernizing manual processes into digital, automated workflows
• Background in embedded finance, marketplace payments, or multi-party payment flows
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, OKRs, and large-scale enterprise delivery practices
