Director, Medical

Responsibilities

• Consult with Creative, Account, and Planning teams to develop compelling medical content across digital and print media
• Analyze clinical data, conduct literature searches, and perform competitive analyses to drive promotional efforts
• Oversee all medical content to ensure scientific accuracy and clinical cogency
• Guide the creation of promotional and KOL materials, ensuring effective use of clinical data to reach strategic brand objectives
• Lead submissions for client medical/regulatory approval processes and incorporate feedback
• Improve medical literacy across agency teams regarding disease states, clinical trials, and treatments
• Engage and inform colleagues, healthcare professionals, and clients, including medical, legal, and regulatory groups

Requirements

• M.D., Ph.D., or Pharm.D. degree
• 5+ years of experience in an agency or pharmaceutical industry supporting scientific communications, medical affairs, or medical education
• Proficiency in scientific literature searches and ability to interpret complex clinical data
• Strong knowledge of FDA marketing regulations and familiarity with AMA style
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication skills
• Ability to lead content development and data analysis for complex projects with minimal direction
• Willingness to travel as required
