About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of integrated Medical Affairs analytics frameworks, performance models, and insight systems across international markets.
  • Transform complex medical, scientific, and operational data into actionable strategic guidance for senior leadership.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and performance frameworks to monitor Medical Affairs impact.
  • Partner with Global and Regional Medical Affairs leadership to ensure alignment between global strategy and regional execution.
  • Lead external benchmarking and capability assessment initiatives to evaluate organizational maturity and identify best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of AI-enabled analytics, machine learning, and digital transformation initiatives within the function.
  • Manage and develop a team of Associate Directors, providing coaching and guidance to ensure high-quality delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, strategic planning, market research, or business intelligence.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including managing teams or complex matrixed environments.
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
  • Expertise in KPI design, performance analytics, and translating complex data into business insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within complex global matrix organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree such as an MBA, PharmD, PhD, MD, or MPH.
  • Experience working across international markets, specifically in Europe or intercontinental regions.
  • Strong background in leading primary and secondary market research initiatives.
