Responsibilities

• Own the full media relations function end-to-end, from strategy through execution
• Develop and drive a proactive, calendar-driven PR program aligned with product launches and company milestones
• Pitch relentlessly to secure placements in tier-1 outlets like WSJ, Forbes, and TechCrunch
• Write and produce all media materials including press releases, pitches, bylines, and op-eds
• Brief and prep executives for interviews and provide real-time support
• Maintain and grow a robust network of journalist relationships across business and tech media
• Partner with analyst relations contractors to coordinate messaging with firms like Gartner and Forrester
• Develop thought leadership content to elevate executive profiles
• Track and report on media coverage quality, volume, and sentiment
• Leverage AI tools to augment media research, content creation, and monitoring

Requirements

• 10+ years in PR/media relations
• Proven working relationships with reporters at major business and tech outlets
• Background in B2B tech, SaaS, or enterprise software strongly preferred
• Exceptional writing and editing abilities
• Experience working directly with C-suite executives
• Proficiency with media databases such as Cision or Muck Rack
• Strong project management and organizational skills

• Mix of agency and in-house experience
• Experience with analyst relations
