About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the institution’s primary marketing strategist, shaping short- and long-term strategy across various audiences and channels.
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive enrollment and engagement.
- Advise senior leadership on marketing strategy, positioning, and market dynamics.
- Create compelling, audience-centered content across digital, social media, web, email, video, and print platforms.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish measurement frameworks to optimize campaign performance.
- Manage the marketing budget and oversee external vendors, agencies, and partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including editorial, creative design, and web, to ensure brand alignment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in marketing strategy, campaign development, and performance marketing.
- Proven experience in higher education marketing and understanding of the student life cycle.
- Demonstrated success leading data-driven, integrated marketing efforts with measurable results.
- Strong writing and editing proficiency with an excellent command of grammar and style.
- Experience with website content management and email marketing platforms.
- Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing marketing budgets and external vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation platforms, SEO, accessibility standards, and AP style.
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Ads.
- Experience working closely with graphic designers or possessing graphic design skills.
