Director, Manufacturing Engineering, Valves

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement build and test solutions to increase production rate and improve build quality
• Partner with design teams to drive future design trades on valve components to improve manufacturability and reliability
• Lead efforts to build up novel processing technologies for high volume valve and component manufacturing
• Lead tactical and strategic planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods and processes
• Interface regularly with key stakeholders and employees throughout the organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams through development/production transition or scaling
• Proven ability to interface with design engineering, manufacturing, and production teams
• Proven ability to set team/individual goals and drive progress

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a new-space manufacturing environment
• Experience in the manufacture of highly controlled aerospace products
