Director, Major Sales

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a New York-based Majors enterprise team within the AMER market
• Recruit, hire, and train a winning team by owning your own sourcing
• Provide support and guidance to direct reports in client and prospect meetings
• Coach direct reports on strategies to drive enterprise sales wins and navigate complex 6-7 figure deals
• Deliver accurate reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior management
• Lead initiatives to drive customer awareness and execute successful sales campaigns
• Manage significant client escalations and issues
• Help establish sales leadership and culture in the new New York office

Requirements

• 3+ years of enterprise sales leadership experience
• Heavy enterprise selling background closing 6-7 figure deals
• Proven ability to recruit and build teams
• Experience selling technical products to technical buyers and developers
• Track record of success and quota attainment
• Hands-on mentality and ability to drive process through legal, procurement, and security

Preferred Qualifications

• Enterprise pedigree from a high-growth SaaS organization
• Developer tools or web infrastructure sales experience
• Established network of technology companies
• Deep roots in the local enterprise sales scene
