Director, M&A Integration & Separation

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of M&A integration, separation, carve-out, and stand-up engagements
• Advise executive leadership on strategic decisions related to operating models, organizational design, and functional integration
• Direct multiple workstreams across finance, HR, IT, operations, supply chain, and legal functions
• Develop and oversee integration and separation strategies, including Day 1 readiness and TSA planning
• Analyze financial, operational, and organizational data to identify risks and value creation opportunities
• Facilitate executive steering committees and cross-functional workshops
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, staffing, and risk
• Mentor, coach, and develop consultants and managers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business Administration
• 10+ years of experience in management consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate development
• Demonstrated experience leading M&A integration, separation, or post-merger transformation programs
• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle activities and TSA management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across diverse business functions
• Strong financial acumen and experience with financial models and operational metrics
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and executive stakeholders in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience advising private equity clients or Fortune 1000 organizations
• Background in finance transformation or digital transformation
• PMP, CPA, CFA, or Lean Six Sigma certifications
