About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for the long-term care sector to ensure alignment with government and health system objectives.
  • Advise senior leadership on long-term care policy, investment considerations, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Lead the implementation of long-term care programs, initiatives, and system improvement efforts within complex regulatory environments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, service providers, and health system partners.
  • Monitor sector pressures, performance, and emerging issues to provide timely, evidence-informed advice.
  • Oversee long-term care programs and projects while demonstrating sound fiscal oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Progressive leadership experience in complex, multi-faceted environments.
  • Strategic and adaptive mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, changing systems.
  • Strong relationship-building and influential communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and manage operational, strategic, and reputational risks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Professional background in Nursing.
  • Direct experience working within the Long-term Care sector.
