About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership for the long-term care sector to ensure alignment with government and health system objectives.
- Advise senior leadership on long-term care policy, investment considerations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead the implementation of long-term care programs, initiatives, and system improvement efforts within complex regulatory environments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, service providers, and health system partners.
- Monitor sector pressures, performance, and emerging issues to provide timely, evidence-informed advice.
- Oversee long-term care programs and projects while demonstrating sound fiscal oversight.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- Progressive leadership experience in complex, multi-faceted environments.
- Strategic and adaptive mindset with the ability to navigate fast-paced, changing systems.
- Strong relationship-building and influential communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage operational, strategic, and reputational risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Professional background in Nursing.
- Direct experience working within the Long-term Care sector.
