Director, Logistics Projects Americas

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of Distribution & Transportation projects valued between $10M and $50M to drive D2C transformation.
• Architect, orchestrate, and lead high-impact regional supply chain initiatives across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
• Develop robust project concepts and business cases, maintaining control over quality, cost, scope, and timelines.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing regional project management team of four members.
• Spearhead project realization with end-to-end accountability for financial budgets, resource allocation, and IT infrastructure.
• Establish tracking frameworks to manage risk and provide transparent communication to executive stakeholders.
• Drive project hyper-care following GoLive to ensure successful handover to internal customers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Logistics, Warehousing, or Transportation.
• 8+ years of experience managing and leading professional teams.
• Proven experience contributing to significant logistics projects (e.g., warehouse automation or extensions).
• Advanced proficiency in Project Management methodologies (PMP certification highly preferred).
• Expert-level user of SAP (ECC, S/4, EWM), Power BI, and Visio.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel extensively (averaging 30-35% annually) for on-site project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Spanish to support regional collaboration across North America.
• Deep understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement principles within Supply Chain Management.
