Director, Loan Originations

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise the Loan Originations team on CDFI loan structuring and risk management
• Build loan referral and participant relationships with CDFIs, state housing agencies, and other lenders
• Solicit feedback on loan products and collaborate with the Executive Team on product development
• Set customer service standards and expectations for the Loan Originations team
• Provide technical assistance to prospective borrowers
• Support marketing efforts and advocacy through strategic communications
• Monitor industry trends and innovative loan origination strategies in affordable housing
• Represent Cinnaire Lending at industry conferences and events

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Seven or more years of business development experience for a community development lender
• Experience leading and motivating teams of professionals
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience at a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI)
