Director, Leadership Communications

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute a comprehensive communications strategy supporting R&D, Technical Operations, and Business Development.
• Develop and execute integrated messaging and engagement strategies for senior leaders across investor relations, media, social media, and internal forums.
• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing counsel on messaging, positioning, and audience engagement.
• Create impactful executive communications materials, including speeches, presentations, emails, and social content.
• Strengthen the company's external profile by positioning executives at industry events to elevate leadership in rare diseases and scientific innovation.
• Drive alignment to enterprise strategy by harmonizing functional messaging with corporate priorities.
• Support internal engagement through all-hands meetings, internal communications, and team activations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of public relations experience leading corporate or internal communications within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex scientific and business concepts into compelling narratives.
• Proven experience in executive communications and change management strategy and execution.
• Demonstrated experience in successful issues and crisis management.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, or liberal arts.
• Strong executive presence and the ability to influence senior leaders with confidence and discretion.
• Ability to drive alignment across complex, matrixed organizations in a fast-paced environment.
