Director, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) & Field Medical Excellence

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the start-up, progress, and closure of clinical research projects.
• Design and implement pre-market and post-market clinical studies.
• Develop and manage project plans, including comprehensive budgets and timelines.
• Facilitate the development of study protocols, case report forms, and informed consent forms.
• Select and manage investigational sites and clinical study vendors, such as CROs and external laboratories.
• Ensure monitoring activities meet FDA, GCP, and ICH requirements to maintain data integrity.
• Manage clinical study reports and the clinical portion of regulatory submissions.
• Prepare scientific abstracts and manuscripts and lead project meetings to ensure timely communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in life/health sciences or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred).
• 4–6 years of relevant clinical study management experience.
• Direct experience within the diabetes industry.
• Ability to travel approximately 35-50% depending on the study.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the medical device industry.
• Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) designation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
