Director IT Security Engineering

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior technical advisor and subject matter expert for Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Drive the strategy, roadmap, and adoption of identity security capabilities across the enterprise.
• Partner with business, security, engineering, and architecture teams to design scalable identity solutions that meet regulatory and cybersecurity requirements.
• Lead the definition of reference architectures, design standards, and integration patterns for identity lifecycle processes.
• Evaluate new technologies and vendor solutions to strengthen the organization's identity security posture.
• Collaborate with Agile teams on backlog refinement, solution design reviews, and technical governance.
• Mentor engineers, architects, and technical leads through knowledge sharing and technical coaching.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of related experience in IT security or engineering.
• Proven expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), specifically IGA and PAM.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within highly regulated financial services environments.
• Strong ability to present technical strategies and architecture decisions to senior leadership.
• Experience driving change and influencing technical direction in an Agile environment.
