Director, IT

Responsibilities

• Manage group activities and coordinate integration across project boundaries
• Link individual goal setting to corporate and department objectives
• Recommend new services, projects, and goals to strengthen business unit capabilities
• Develop draft budgets and manage approved budgets for assigned groups
• Set and plan the technical direction for the group(s)
• Facilitate hiring decisions and manage interview teams
• Assess staff performance and make disciplinary recommendations
• Oversee staff activities and adapt deployment to meet changing priorities and deadlines

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience with a BS in Computer Science or a related field, OR
• 8+ years of relevant experience with an MS in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience in budget management
• Strong team leadership and staff deployment experience
