About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish and cultivate strategic relationships with key publisher organizations, focusing on premium streaming audio and CTV partnerships
  • Build and execute strategic business plans to drive growth through transparent access, addressability, and increased revenue
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert for supply within the TTD marketplace, partnering with demand teams on go-to-market initiatives
  • Drive adoption of clean supply initiatives, including SPO mechanics like OpenPath and emerging IAB standards
  • Evangelize identity strategies and addressability solutions, such as Unified ID 2.0
  • Lead complex contract negotiations with publisher partners across various initiatives
  • Coordinate with Inventory Management and Technical Account Management teams to ensure successful partnership growth
  • Communicate The Trade Desk’s value proposition and technological advantages alongside industry trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of programmatic experience in publisher business development at a media company, SSP, or data company
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals
  • Established relationships with decision-makers at top digital publishers
  • Deep understanding of the sell-side of digital advertising
  • Strong quantitative skills and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to lead both short-term and mid-term sales and partnership cycles
  • Experience collaborating across Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams
