About the role
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the global internal communications strategy to ensure employees receive timely, relevant, and consistent information.
- Build and manage the company intranet as an employee-first destination, driving adoption, engagement, and governance.
- Design and manage a multi-platform communications ecosystem including email, enterprise messaging, digital signage, video, and podcasts.
- Translate executive decisions and business milestones into engaging internal narratives.
- Draft, edit, and distribute memos and leadership communications, including time-sensitive updates outside standard business hours to accommodate global time zones.
- Develop a social-media-informed approach to internal content, applying platform thinking to the employee experience.
- Establish and manage engagement measurements, using data to pivot strategies and messaging approaches.
- Partner with Corporate Communications team members to manage information flow across various business units and geographies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employee engagement, or enterprise communications.
- Strong understanding of intranet strategy, platform management, and digital-first content development.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone across various platforms and formats.
- Experience managing communications for a large, globally distributed, and multicultural workforce.
- A data-driven mindset with experience building measurement frameworks and analyzing engagement trends.
- Proficiency with internal platforms such as SharePoint, Staffbase, Poppulo, or Viva Engage.
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Flexibility to handle time-sensitive communications outside of standard business hours.
