Director, Internal Audit

Responsibilities

• Assist in shaping and executing the IA strategic roadmap and maturing the IA function
• Lead the development and execution of the annual risk-based internal audit plan and reports
• Participate in enterprise risk assessment efforts alongside the VP of Internal Audit
• Provide advisory services and risk/internal control insights to business partners
• Collaborate with corporate risk and control functions including Security GRC, Privacy, Compliance, and SOX
• Develop material for Audit Committee reporting and present findings to management
• Build relationships with business partners to understand processes and influence risk mitigation
• Develop training programs for IA team members to ensure compliance with IIA standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in internal audit or a similar role within Big4 or public companies
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience in healthcare, insurance, or technology
• 4+ years of experience managing teams of internal resources or consultants

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of insurance and healthcare sectors
• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting
• Relevant professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, or CISA
• Proficiency in data and analytics
