Director, Institutional ETF & Solutions Distribution, GAM

Responsibilities

• Lead institutional sales efforts for BMO GAM’s ETF platform, positioning ETFs as core building blocks for institutional portfolios.
• Drive growth across alternative investment solutions, including Private Credit, Private Equity, and Quantitative strategies.
• Identify and convert new institutional relationships through proactive prospecting and consultative engagement with pension plans, insurance companies, and family offices.
• Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships by providing advice on asset allocation and portfolio construction.
• Develop and execute annual territory business plans to achieve growth and retention targets in Western Canada.
• Collaborate with internal portfolio managers, product specialists, and capital markets teams to deliver integrated client solutions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate university degree is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of institutional investment sales experience.
• Advanced understanding of institutional ETFs.
• Strong working knowledge of alternatives and active investment strategies.
• Proven track record of success in complex, consultative sales environments.
• Ability to travel as required within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

• CFA designation.
• MBA degree.
