Director, Infrastructure Supply Chain Hardware

Fluidstack is focused on delivering massive-scale compute infrastructure for AI. The company acquires power, designs and builds data centers, and operates them with teams spanning hardware and software to accelerate the deployment of frontier AI models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for compute, storage, networking equipment, and infrastructure services
• Build and manage supplier relationships with OEMs, ODMs, and component manufacturers
• Run competitive bidding, RFx processes, and lead contract negotiations for MSAs, purchase agreements, and SOWs
• Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and technology roadmaps to provide intelligence on TCO and lead times
• Manage supplier performance through scorecards, KPIs, and quarterly business reviews
• Partner with capacity planning, engineering, and program management to align procurement with deployment schedules

Requirements

• Experience owning hardware sourcing strategy for data center, hyperscale, or large-scale IT infrastructure
• Proven track record negotiating directly with OEMs and ODMs
• Experience leading complex contract and pricing negotiations on MSAs, SLAs, and warranties
• Ability to translate market dynamics and technology roadmaps into sourcing and TCO decisions
• Experience building category strategies and managing supplier performance via scorecards and QBRs
• Ability to partner with engineering and capacity planning teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in GPU, networking, or compute hardware categories
• Experience building a sourcing function during periods of rapid scale
• Experience with global supplier base management
• Experience in infrastructure services procurement
