Director, Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Engineering)

Responsibilities

• Define and govern cloud identity and access architecture across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and SaaS platforms.
• Design and implement federation, SSO, and identity integration patterns using SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Lead SCIM-based provisioning and identity lifecycle automation to strengthen security controls.
• Drive multi-cloud security strategy for human and machine identities, including privileged access and workload identity.
• Partner with security, networking, and compliance teams to implement least privilege and policy-based access governance.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Architect and oversee IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), container platforms (Kubernetes, Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish KPIs, SLIs, and SLOs to ensure performance, reliability, and cost optimization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience designing and operating enterprise cloud and identity platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in Cloud Security and IAM across major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
• Strong hands-on experience with federation, SSO, SCIM, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.
• Expert understanding of authentication and authorization standards including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect.
• Proven ability to influence technical stakeholders and communicate complex security concepts to executives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience securing SaaS integrations and third-party connectivity in highly regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience managing containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker.
