Director, Industry Solutions

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of industry technical architects driving strategic customer engagements and building prescriptive architecture for the Snowflake AI Data Cloud
• Drive industry leadership for Retail, CPG, Travel & Hospitality, Media & Entertainment, and Telecom
• Evolve customer engagements from technology discussions to persona-driven use cases anchored in business outcomes
• Lead workshops and co-creation sessions using human-centric design and design thinking methodologies
• Drive the creation of hands-on solution showcases, including demos, videos, and AI agentic experiences
• Influence product roadmaps by serving as the Voice of the Field to product and engineering teams
• Build and mentor a high-performing team of industry experts and trusted advisors
• Act as a player/coach to develop reference architectures and drive complex strategic engagements with CDOs and CTOs

Requirements

• 20+ years of industry experience in Data & AI engineering or technical solutioning
• 8+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring high-performing teams
• Strong domain expertise in Data Warehousing, BI, Data Analytics, AI/ML, Generative AI, and Cloud Computing
• Proven track record of building common engineering infrastructure and world-class reference architectures
• Exceptional communication skills for delivering presentations to technical and executive stakeholders
• Demonstrated expertise in human-centric design, design thinking, or innovation frameworks
• Experience developing and delivering solution showcases such as demos and AI-driven experiences
