About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide regional leadership to meet or exceed territory sales targets and manage all commercial aspects of the business.
  • Develop and execute a European sales strategy and detailed "go-to-market" models.
  • Prepare annual territory sales plans, including financial expectations and resource justifications.
  • Oversee accurate order forecasting and manage regional expenses to ensure profitability.
  • Identify key opinion leaders and coordinate field marketing activities such as tradeshows and product launches.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff, establishing performance goals and conducting annual appraisals.
  • Drive efficient business processes through monthly and quarterly performance analysis.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of market trends, technology, and competitive landscapes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Life Sciences preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of sales management experience.
  • At least 7 years of senior-level management experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience working within an ISO, GMP, or biotechnology industry organization.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel (expert level).
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout Europe.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree.
  • Proven experience as a leader among peers, driving new initiatives and presenting complex ideas.
  • Strong understanding of the Pharma/Biotechnology industry and academic research institutions.
