About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy and priorities with the strategic direction of assigned business units
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on organizational design, talent strategy, and scaling the business
  • Influence the full spectrum of HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, and workforce planning
  • Champion inclusion and employee engagement to foster a culture of belonging and connection
  • Lead leadership development strategies and succession planning
  • Drive innovation in HR practices by staying informed on future-of-work trends
  • Coach senior leaders on complex organizational and people-related matters
  • Utilize metrics and insights to demonstrate the ROI of HR initiatives
  • Support due diligence and integration activities related to mergers and acquisitions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressively responsible HRBP experience
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience partnering with executive-level teams
  • Experience supporting highly matrixed and complex organizations
  • Strong business acumen and ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical execution
  • Proven change leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% to West Michigan sites within a 60-mile radius

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Professional HR certification such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP
  • Global organizational exposure
