Director, Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Partner with the VP of Human Resources to develop and execute a people strategy aligned with the organization's mission and long-term goals
• Lead and develop the HR team, including the HR Manager and HR Coordinator, fostering a high-performing culture
• Drive organizational design and workforce planning across global offices
• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations, providing legally compliant guidance and handling sensitive matters with discretion
• Champion a mission-rooted culture and implement programs supporting wellbeing and resilience for a globally dispersed team
• Collaborate with Talent Development to manage performance frameworks, succession planning, and retention
• Provide HR support and policy guidance across international offices, adapting global frameworks to local legal contexts
• Maintain HR records and HRIS, providing analytics on headcount, turnover, and engagement

Requirements

• BA/BSc in Human Resources Management or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3+ years in a leadership role
• Proven experience as a strategic HR business partner in a complex, multi-site organization
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law
• Fluent in English
• Ability to live and work in London, UK, with up to 10% annual international travel
• Valid UK work permit or UK citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• CIPD Level 7 qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience with European and international employment frameworks
