About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Honeywell standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to site HSE teams to ensure effective implementation of initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop control measures
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business processes
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship
- Oversee the AERO inspection and auditing program and support regulatory communications
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of HSE leadership experience
- 3+ years of operational HSE oversight across multiple sites
- Direct experience managing complex environmental permits (Title V air permitting, RCRA Hazardous Waste, Stormwater/Wastewater)
- Experience interacting directly with regulatory agencies
- Proven ability to lead large, complex HSE projects involving multiple stakeholders
- Ability to build and mentor HSE teams to accomplish challenging goals
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced certifications in HSE-related disciplines
- Familiarity with HSE management systems (ISO)
- Experience with global HSE regulations
- Experience managing consultancy support for inspections and ESA Phase I evaluations
- Experience with HSE integration during business transitions, mergers, or acquisitions
