Director HSE, Data Center Operations

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated safety oversight for active deployments and operational data centers
• Assess risks to workers and develop mitigation action plans
• Develop and implement HSE processes including Right to Know and Hazard Communication programs
• Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations and report on HSE metrics
• Facilitate incident investigations and lead root cause analysis efforts
• Develop HSE awareness through training and communications
• Liaise with local contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Maintain meticulous HSE documentation such as MSDS/SDS folders

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of relevant HSE experience
• Proven technical knowledge of Federal and State HSE rules and regulations
• Direct experience implementing HSE policies and procedures
• Experience with electrical safety standards such as NFPA70E or OSHA30
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with HSE management systems and documentation software
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in data center, cloud infrastructure, or R&D environments
• Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, or OHST
• Familiarity with environmental regulations impacting data center operations
