Director, Global Surgical Communications

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and deliver impactful communications strategies and programs to support commercial excellence and launch execution for the Global Surgical Franchise.
• Lead communications for global product launch announcements and provide regions with robust PR toolkits.
• Identify opportunities to communicate key global Surgical Franchise themes and narratives to ensure consistent messaging across regions.
• Raise awareness regarding key business milestones, global data news, and business differentiators.
• Lead global surgical awareness campaigns and events relevant to customers and patients.
• Support Business Development & Licensing (BD&L) communications related to acquisitions and technology integrations.
• Manage global issues or crisis situations to protect brands and reputation, collaborating with Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.
• Partner with ESG and Corporate Communications teams to ensure alignment of franchise messaging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience in communications.
• Proven experience in strategic communications planning and global product launches.
• Strong crisis management and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, and regional teams.
